L’objectif de ce travail a été d’évaluer l’effet de l’apport de l’aspirine et de la vitamine C dans la lutte contre le stress thermique chez le poulet de chair élevé en ambiance chaude sur les performances de croissance et de la rentabilité économique.
L’étude s’est déroulée du 15 Août au 25 Octobre 2019 dans un poulailler situé dans le quartier de Kabatoki (Kaolack, Sénégal). Pour ce faire, l’étude a été réalisée sur un total de 180 poussins de souche Cobb 500. A partir du quinzième jour d’élevage, les oiseaux ont été répartis en quatre lots de 45 sujets chacun :
Lot « Témoin » = lot ne recevant pas de traitement dans l’eau de boisson
Lot « Vit C » = lot recevant une supplémentation en vitamine C, à la dose 5 ml pour 1 litre d’eau boisson
Lot « Aspirine » = lot recevant seulement de l’aspirine, à la dose 1g d’aspirine pour 1litre d’eau de boisson
Lot « Aspro C » = lot recevant de l’association de l’aspirine et de la vitamine C, à la dose 1g d’Aspro C pour 1 litre d‘eau de boisson
Les résultats obtenus sur la base des paramètres tels que : la température et l’hygrométrie ambiante, la consommation alimentaire et hydrique, l’évolution pondérale, le gain moyen quotidien, l’indice de consommation alimentaire, le taux de mortalité et la rentabilité économique montrent que l’utilisation de l’aspirine et de la vitamine C dans l’eau de boisson en période de chaleur est un moyen qui permet de limiter la baisse des performances de croissance des poulets de chair et améliorer la rentabilité économique de la bande.PRESIDENT DE JURY : M.
