Malgré les efforts fournis dans la lutte et la surveillance de la Fièvre de la Vallée du Rift au Niger, très peu de travaux ont été réalisés sur cette maladie. Le problème qui se pose : La situation épidémiologique de la FVR dans le département de Tassara n’est pas connue. L’objectif de notre étude est de connaître la situation épidémiologique de la FVR dans le département de Tassara en 2022. Ainsi, 497 sérums prélevés dans 17 centres du département de Tassara de la région de Tahoua, ont été analysés avec la technique d’ELISA de compétition pour la détection des anticorps anti nucléoprotéine RVFV ( NP) avec le kit ID.VET ID screenRift Vallery Fever Competition Multi-species ,pour la recherche des IgG témoins d’infection ancienne et l’ ELISA de capture pour la détection des anticorps de types IgM dirigés contre la nucléoprotéine du virus de la fièvre de la vallée du Rift avec le kit ID.VET ID screen Rift Vallery Fever IgM Capture , témoins d’infection récente. Les résultats obtenus montrent une séroprévalence globale de 7%. Toutefois, il a été noté une différence dans les taux de séroprévalence entre sites, le centre de Maya, Tizigar et Tircine sont les centres qui ont eu les séroprévalences élevées respectivement 25%, 19% et 18%. Tafargat et Tamoughniya ont présenté des séroprévalences moyennes de 14% chacun. Les sites d’Egwane, ItihadTassara commune et Inalgafiat ont enregistré des séroprévalences faibles respectivement 11%, 10%, 7,70% et 6,50% tandis que les séroprévalences les plus faibles ont été obtenues à Birmouegam (2,70) et à Amazaram (2,50%). Aucun cas positif n’a été détecté dans les sites de Intiz-Intiz, Louberat, AghazarMakaram, Azanag et Centre Peulh. L’analyse des résultats en fonction des facteurs intrinsèques a montré une variation de la séroprévalence en fonction des espèces, les caprins sont plus infectés (8,90%) que les bovins (6,90%) puis les ovins (6,50%) et une séroprévalence nulle a été notée chez les camelins. La différence de séroprévalence selon l’espèce n’est pas significative (P-value =0,580). En ce qui concerne le sexe, les résultats ont révélé que sur l’ensemble des échantillons testés toutes espèces confondues, les femelles étaient plus infectées que les mâles, soit des séroprévalences respectives de 7,16% et 6,25% ; mais cette différence n’est pas significative (P-value=0.769). De façon générale le site, l’espèce et l’âge sont les facteurs de risque sur le statut du test IgG (Pr(>|z|) = 0,001). En d’autres termes, ces trois facteurs combinés ont un effet significatif sur la maladie. Cependant, de façon spécifique, le site est le seul facteur qui a un effet significatif sur le statut du test IgG au seuil de significativité de 5%. Par conséquent, il est nécessaire d’assurer une épidémio-vigilance efficace dans cette zone d’étude. Il faut aussi redynamiser le réseau de surveillance épidémiologique pour assurer une épidémio surveillance dans les autres régions du Niger, surtout celles proches de Tahoua et assurer une veille épidémiologique, sur toute l’étendue du territoire afin d’éviter à l’avenir une ré-émergence. |
